How Oscar became the soccer oracle dog
“In 2021, the soccer oracle was a competition run by the Tony Petfluencer agency – in which we and Oscar were allowed to take part. Oscar got all the games right except one. I uploaded it to the channel too late. Unfortunately, that meant it wasn’t counted, otherwise we would have won hands down before the final.”
“To be honest, we didn’t follow it that closely at first. It was only when people wrote to us on Instagram and asked: ‘What’s the Oscar pick tonight?’ that I looked at the ranking and saw that he was in the lead.”
How the prediction game works
The betting game for dogs from the petfluencer agency “Tony” is also taking place again for the current European Football Championship. At the beginning, the participating dogs choose between three bowls, each representing the opposing teams or a “draw”. After the group matches, there are only two bowls left, as the “draw” option is no longer available.
Each bowl contains a certain amount of the same snack so that the “oracles” are not influenced in their choice. The bowl in which the snack is eaten first then registers as the “tip” for the corresponding game.

This is the dog’s tip for the opening match of the European Championship
The soccer oracle doesn’t actually publish the dogs’ tips on Instagram until 24 hours before the match in question. For the opening match of the European Championship on June 14, however, Oscar gave a tip in advance – exclusively for PETBOOK.
If you believe the dog oracle’s tip, Germany will win the opening match of the European Championship. Will he be right? His owner Martin Terodde is sure: “I think so, and I assume that he will definitely be the defending champion.”
